The was a nice arrival experience where I was escorted to the Executive Suite right away by the Life Style Manager. Armani is trying a new service concept with a Life Style Manager that are there to attend any needs. Both as a concierge and butler. As many others have reported the service have some problems. It’s good and professional, but have they found the right staff? I don’t think so. I want to experience caring staff that makes you feel special, but that is the exact opposite with Armani Hotel Dubai. Most of the staff is just professional but seems not to care much about you. A mixed of many nationalities which unfortunately is very common in Dubai’s hotels. That said, the staff is well trained, but they need to find staff with the right setting for delivering great service.
My suite was the best thing about the hotel. It was one of the best I’ve ever stayed. A fantastic design in 95 square metres. It looked amazing in photos, but even better to see it with my own eyes. Both internet and minibar were complimentary. The suite also had a handwritten welcome card and chocolates. The facilities is very impressive as well, a great outdoor swimming pool and gym. The food needs improvement. The breakfast was not up to the standards you would expect and the service at breakfast must be improved as well.
Overall this is one of the world’s best design hotels, absolutely amazing. The service and food, however, is far from the best in the world and needs improvement if Giorgio Armani wants one of the world’s best hotels.
My opinion: Fantastic experience.
