Blackheath Lodge, Cape Town

Introduction: Blackheath Lodge is easy to find – and perfectly positioned.

Our guest house is conveniently situated in Sea Point on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, right under Signal Hill – close to the happening city centre of Cape Town, as well as the V&A Waterfront. A host of world-class restaurants are within easy reach of the lodge, and the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are just around the corner.

Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My Arrival Experience: Warm welcome from Antony and his team with a welcome drink before he escorted me to the room.
What I loved: The rooms, the design, the attention to details and the staff. It’s a truly great boutique hotel.
What About the Service: Great service from all the staff. The service is a level above most boutique hotels I have stayed and it is partly why the hotel is currently ranked number 3 in all of Tripadvisor based on guest satisfaction.
What About the Rooms: Lovely, beautifully designed room with comfortable bed, shower, flat screen Tv and outdoor sitting area. All in a very attractive design like the rest of the hotel.
Number of Rooms: 10.
