Carolines Resort is a small 8-bungalow property which are one of the few good places to stay in Palau, the 2nd smallest member country of United Nations. The bungalows are charming, but could need an update in some areas. The shower could be easier to manage and the bed could be more soft, but that is easily forgotten when looking at the view. The views are incredible and Palau is definitely one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.
What made Carolines Resort special for me was the fantastic staff. Always smiling, helpful and with a great attitude. The food at Carolines is limited to a small menu with reasonable prices where the mushroom soup is highly recommended. There isn’t any facilities at Carolines, but the new Slovakian owner has many plans for the resort and I am sure it will only be better when I return in a hopefully not to distant future.
My opinion: Good+ experience.
