Coco Palm Bodu Hithi

Coco Palm Bodu Hithi is part of the Coco Collection and furthermore a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. That was my reasons for selecting it as my last resort in Maldives for the project and I was excited to see how it would compare with the bests.

The Maldivian general manager greeted me upon a arrival and I was met by the butler that escorted me to the villa.

I stayed in a Club Water Villa and it was very nice. It was a little tired, but being over water is always something special. The bathroom had a large bathtub and there was both an indoor and outdoor shower. The Club is like a separate resort within the resort itself. It comes with great benefits and my first experience was the welcome foot massage which is a detail I wish more resorts would do.

The service level was very good, but could need improvement in areas to become great. Especially the restaurant staff could need more training as the service there was very based. The food there was a different story. Great and among the better meals I’ve had in The Maldives.

Overall another great experience in Maldives. It’s membership of Small Luxury Hotels of the World is fully deserved and it’s actually among the better ones. The staff is great and the butler service was very good.

My opinion: Great+ experience.
