Inn at English Harbour

The Inn at English Harbour is a 28 room in Antigua which is recommended by Condé Nast Johanssen and has some of the highest rates on the island.

I arrived in the hotel and was welcomed by the general manager before being escorted to my room. The room was located 4 minutes walk from the reception area and I was escorted in a buggy. I stayed in a junior suite which had many nice details. The design was very colonial, but there was no bath tub, which was disappointing for me. Many general managers have told me only a few guests actually uses the bath tub, but in my opinion it always needs to be there so there’s nothing missing. The bed was comfortable and in general a nice place to stay without being extraordinary.

After a long periode of time in The Caribbean I kept my expectations for the service low, but it was good after Caribbean standards and I had a another nice experience to the portfolio.

My opinion: Good experience.
