InterContinental Hanoi Westlake

Priority Club is a great loyalty club, and they have something I could wish the other loyalty programs had. Point Breaks. For only 5.000 Priority Club points you can stay in an InterContinental hotel that normally would cost 30.000-40.000 points. That was exactly what I did in InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, so it was excellent value. The hotel is quite new and opened in 2008 and followed that up with inclusion in Condé Nast Traveller’s Hot List last year so I thought it was worth to check out, especially because of the great value regarding the point break.

The check in process was nice. First I showed my passport at check in and was escorted to the lobby lounge where they asked me which welcome drink I wanted. After that, the front office manager came and greeted me, and we talked a bit before she escorted me to the room. My room was their standard room, but it had a nice sea view. The room looked very new and had flat screen Tv, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The facilities is fine as well.

The service was up to my expectations. All the staff were very friendly and helped me with anything I needed. Overall this hotel is a good experience, but don’t expect an unforgettable experience.

My opinion: Good+ experience.
