Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa

Park Hyatt is Hyatts collection of their highest quality hotels around the world. After a fantastic experience with Park Hyatt Shanghai was excited to see how good Park Hyatt Beaver Creek could be. I arrived in the hotel with my Hyatt Diamond status, but because the hotel was fully booked no suite upgrade was available. I stayed in a Highland King room and it was a disappointment. It was dated in many parts and only updated in a few. One of them was a flatscreen Tv, but that didn’t make up the bad impression of the room.

When I stay in a disappointing room I expect great service to make up for the overall experience. It was of course not anywhere near Shanghai quality, but it was still very good service. The facilities were updated and top modern especially the spa was great. Overall this must be one of the weakest Park Hyatt. It did not meet my expectations, but with a huge renovation and a little better service it can become a really great hotel.

My opinion: Good experience.
