Rosewood Sand Hill

As a hotel passionist, I would like to try all kind of hotels, all kind of luxurious chains and quite simply everything. Before I arrived in Rosewood Sand Hill, I didn’t know much about Rosewood, but after my stay, I realise that I should. It was a surprisingly great experience especially because I didn’t expect it to have such high quality. I arrived at the hotel and had a warm welcome before being escorted to my upgraded Luxury Suite. The suite was 1.054 square foot with own fireplace and balcony. The suite had a comfortable, brilliant design that reminded me of Aman Resorts. All of the hotel is brilliantly designed and exceeded my expectations by far.

The most important thing in a hotel is although the service and it exceeded my expectations as well. Very friendly and attentive to details. There was a handwritten welcome card from the general manager and a special welcome drink that was especially prepared by the executive chef. This hotel has a good size with 123 rooms and it gives them excellent opportunities to deliver the personalised service which takes the experience from good to great.

The facilities were lovely as well. A nice swimming pool and a great spa that makes it a perfect hotel to relax in. Furthermore, the hotel has a car service which takes guests complimentary within five miles of the hotel. A great service for me as it allowed me to arrive in style to my next hotel. Four Seasons Hotel East Palo Alto.

Overall this was a great surprise. A great hotel experience to the portfolio. I would not place it among the very best in the world, but it definitely deserves a place among the world’s 500 bests. The value is excellent for the experience you get.
