Sheraton Haikou

Hainan Island is known as Chinas Hawaii and after five days on the island, I have to agree. It’s stunning. In fact, it exceeded my expectations by far since there have been mixed opinions about the island. Haikou was my last stop on a one month trip to China and Sheraton Haikou is the only option if you want to stay in the best. Sheraton Haikou offers 341 guest rooms and suites and is up to the standards of Sheraton.

As an SPG Platinum member, I got upgraded to a nice suite which was very comfortable. It had a freestanding bathtub and a nice balcony with beautiful view. The service was better than expected in this hotel. I had no problem communicating in English, and they were all friendly. Food and facilities are fine too. Recommended as the only choice in Haikou. Keep in mind; it’s very far from the best hotels in the world, but nobody can expect that for the price.

My opinion: Good experience.
