The Hay-Adams

Introduction: The Hay-Adams is an elegant historic hotel located in downtown Washington D.C., rich in both history and luxury. This boutique hotel near the White House is also a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and has beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and complimentary high-speed internet access.

Arrival experience: Warm welcome from several staff including the Dutch hotel manager.

What I loved: The location, the professional service and the excellent beds. I rank it a Great+ experience for the view despite the missing separate shower and rain shower-head.

What about the food: Excellent lunch with fresh Chilean sea bass as a highly recommended main course. Breakfast was not part of the agreement, but is served in the same beautiful restaurant as the lunch.
