The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta

Finding the best hotel in Atlanta is not easy, it’s a brand battle between Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons and St. Regis and I was excited to explore the all to find the answer. My first hotel was Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and even though Ritz-Carlton’s quality have gone down it’s still consider one of the worlds leading brands. Ritz-Carlton Atlanta delievered a great experience after American standards. I had a quick check in with escort to the elevator and because of my Ritz-Carlton Rewards Platinum status I was upgraded to an Executive Suite which was very nice. A very nice detail is that the pillows had my name initials. A detail I haven’t seen elsewhere in the world. The bed was acceptable, but I very much prefer Four Seasons beds in comparison with Ritz-Carlton’s.

The suite also featured a working desk, flatscreen Tv and nice bath room. The internet was very fast throughout my stay, but is chargeable unless you’re a platinum member of Ritz-Carlton. I also had access to their club lounge and it had great service combined with a good selection of food during the cocktail hours. The service in general in the hotel was up to my expectations. Well trained staff, but not personalized service as this is a big hotel with over 400 rooms. The facilities were acceptable as well, but is a point where they could improve this hotel. Overall great after American standards and a safe choice in Atlanta, but as you can read later on I don’t consider it the best in town.
