The Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt

If you want to stay in Ritz-Carlton only hotel in Ireland, you need to travel to a small town called Erriskerry. Located approximately 30 minutes from Dublin, Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt is a beautiful hotel close to Powerscourt House and Gardens.I stayed in a great Garden View Suite which had the latest technology and contemporary design. The bathroom had Acqua di Palma products which were a big surprise because the only time I’ve seen them before was in the Presidential Suite of Four Seasons Resort Mauritius.

Service is and will always be the most important thing in a hotel, and Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt does have good staff and service, however far from the best I’ve seen from Ritz-Carlton which still is Tokyo. I didn’t like the fact that only half of the employees were local as it needs to feel like an Irish experience. The facilities were very impressive especially the spa.

Overall the experience met my expectations. It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful location. The service was acceptable for Ritz-Carlton but needs more attention to detail to become great.
