With only 189 rooms this is one of the smallest city hotels of St. Regis and it gives great benefits in delivering the personal service that is required. My experience started when I checked in and a glass of champagne was offered. Very nice touch and very professional staff at front disk as expected. After the check in procedure I was escorted to the elevator where the butler welcomed me by name when I arrived at my floor. Butler service is one of St. Regis signatures and the butler service in this hotel was probably the best I’ve seen from St. Regis. Personalized, professional and very friendly. Another of St. Regis signatures is the classical design and it was absolutely wonderful. I stayed in a luxury suite and it lived up to it’s name. Very luxurious, nice city views and with the latest tegnology including a 42 inch flat screen Tv.
The facilities was very impressive. The spa area was top notch and a perfect place to relax. Breakfast was the only disappointment in my stay and must be improved immidiately. The selection of food was not impressive and the things in the buffet had low quality.
Overall a fantastic experience. Deserves to be recognized as one of the best city hotels. Very close to be one of my own favorites.
