The St. Regis Washington D.C.

St. Regis has become a very trustful hotel brand for me. Like with Four Seasons you can count staff is well trained and professional and it will have the same style everywhere you go. St. Regis hotels have to be classical and Washington D.C. was one of the most classical ones.

The check in went very fast where I was upgraded to a Jane Astor Suite because of my Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum status. I arrived in the suite and it was great with many classical elements. My suite had a bath tub, but most rooms in this hotel don’t and that information was a surprise for me. The service was very good as said because you can count on well trained and professional staff. They were not extraordinary, but up to the standard I expected from St. Regis. This hotel needs better facilities though, the gym was disappointing and they don’t have a swimming pool.

Overall it was a St. Regis experience as expected. Service not as good as in Europe and Asia, but the very classical design makes it up.

My opinion: Great+ experience.
