The Westin Mauritius Turtle Bay Resort & Spa

Introduction: Previously known as the Grand Mauritian, The Westin Mauritius Turtle Bay Resort & Spa recently opened as Westin’s first property in the Indian Ocean. The rooms are just as expected with a typical Westin design, Westin Heavenly Beds and freestanding bathtub, but complimentary internet access as a pleasant surprise. Westin has kept many of the same staff from the Grand Mauritian-days, and  the service is impressive from day one.

Arrival experience: Warm welcome with a welcome drink before being escorted to the room.

What I loved: The high level of service, food and the beautiful beach.

What about the food: Surprisingly great, among the better resorts in Mauritius for food.
